Welcome to the application for the 8th Annual West Main Arts Festival occurring on September 14, 2024 from Noon-7pm.

The event will take place on West Main St. in the heart of Downtown Arlington with events occurring a block away at the Levitt Pavilion after! The application process will be open until July 19, 2024. After July 19th, any applications received will immediately be placed on a wait list. The participants will be announced on or before July 26th. Please note that we have limited spaces available and it will not be possible to accept everyone that applies. This year we have a High School and College Student category for a reduced fee.

There are requirements to participate. Once you select your vendor type, you will have access to these requirements. Note that we will NOT be approving applications for vendors who sell brand name, manufactured, or CBD products. This event strives to promote local vendors who create their own art and wares.

We will be collecting a $25 application/jury fee via PayPal at the time you complete this application, which will applied towards your space fee if you are selected to participate. This fee is non-refundable. Full payment of the participation/space fees are not due until after July 29th and you will be emailed an invoice to pay them. There is no charge associated with participating as a performing artist or musician.

WMAF 2024 Space Fee for Artists and Vendors: $150

Food Vendor (10’x10’ space): $250

Food Truck/Trailer (larger than 10’x10’ space): $450

Add access to electricity: $25 (art and wares vendors only, first come first served)

Add ability to choose your space: $50 (art and wares vendors only)

There is no charge associated with participating as a performing artist or musician.

Why are we slightly increasing fees this year? Each year as WMAF grows larger, so do the operating costs involved with the event. WMAF has continuously doubled in size, year over year since our inaugural year in 2016. This means there are more costs associated with security, communications, event promotions, paying musicians and signage. In order to keep up with these demands, your application and participation fee provides vital support to the infrastructure of the event!

What is the West Main Arts Festival?

September 14, 2024, Noon-8pm. The 8th Annual, 2023 West Main Arts Festival will create a 4 block street scene featuring featuring thousands of visitors with 100 art/vendor booths, 20 food trucks, 20 local bands, street performers, Pickleball court (pro exhibition, open play) kid's art creation station & bounce houses, The Arlington Public Library will provide and interactive kids area in the Gene Allen Pocket Park.

This 4 block stretch of West Main and the Cultural District includes the Dance Theater Arlington, Arlington Public Library, Catalyst Creative and F6 Gallery. ALL WILL BE OPEN FOR THE FESTIVAL.

Local music fans will be in heaven. The #WMAF2024 features 3 stages and 25 local bands along with buskers playing along West Main. Bring your lawn chairs to relax and listen to the music. This is a family friendly even and pets are welcome!

This festival was created 9 years ago by Arlington residents to support artists and musicians in the Arlington area. We need the support of our community now more than ever to rebuild our creative space in Arlington.
